Barcelona midfielder Thiago Motta has lambasted Chelsea's 'rough' tactics in the teams' UEFA Champions League draw on Tuesday.
Motta was left exasperated by his side's failure to claim all three points after the 2-2 draw, and believes his side were the victims of some poor refereeing to boot.
Motta believes referee Stefano Farina - who incensed the coaching staff of both teams with his performance - should have reined in the Premiership champions.
"We tried to play, but they played rough all match. Chelsea came to Spain, not to play football, because they know that it's not easy to play at Camp Nou," said Motta.
"The referee let them do what they wanted."
Didier Drogba's last-gasp goal means Barca relinquished second place in the group to Werder Bremen, who they now trail by two points with two matches remaining in Group A.
"It's difficult for us to accept this result as we worked hard to get a positive result," added the midfielder.
"Now we have to forget this match and move on. We have to win the next two games to make sure we have no problem of getting into the next round."
