Liam Rosenior has backed Wayne Bridge to make a real impact in Germany.
Liam Rosenior has backed Wayne Bridge to make a real impact in this year's World Cup finals in Germany with England.
The young defender has learned a lot from the Chelsea loanee and is pleased that Bridge has made it into Sven Goran Eriksson's provisional squad.
"I'm so glad Wayne's made the England squad," Rosenior told Fulham's official website.
"He deserves it. He's a top player.
"It's been great having him here at Fulham for me personally because he's a real role model.
"I'm only 21 but it's my aspiration to be playing for England in a big tournament in years to come.
"As far as I'm concerned, he's not only one of the best left backs in England but in the whole of Europe."
Bridge was involved in a nightclub incident this week that left him cuts and bruises but, although he was spoken to by police, no action was taken.
