Fulham boss Chris Coleman admits he would love to make Wayne Bridge's stay at Craven Cottage permanent but accepts it will all depend on Chelsea's stance.The England international has impressed whilst on loan at Chelsea's West London neighbours but is likely to still harbour hopes of returning to the champions.
However, Asier Del Horno's arrival last summer is unlikely to convince Bridge that he is a firm part of Jose Mourinho's first team plans for the coming campaigns.
That said, Del Horno has not perhaps enjoyed the best debut campaign in the capital and it has been reported that Chelsea will be in the market for a left back in the summer.
If Bridge is deemed surplus to requirements then he will not be short of suitors and Fulham, impressed with what they have seen thus far, are likely to head the queue.
''He's part of the guys and fitted in well in the dressing room,'' said Coleman.
''I don't know if I can get him but I would love to. But that decision will be made by Chelsea.''
