Frank Lampard will ignore interest from Real Madrid to stay at Chelsea.
Frank Lampard's agent insists that his client is determined to stay with Chelsea and win more silverware under Jose Mourinho, after Spanish giants Real Madrid reputedly tabled a bid for the England star.Reports in the English press suggest that Los Merengues had an approach turned down for the former West Ham man, with the offer comprising £20 million plus England striker Michael Owen and Argentine winger Santiago Solari.
Lampard confirmed his status as one of world football's most impressive performers as he secured the Footballer of the Year award in a season in which Chelsea claimed their first league title for 50 years as well as the Carling Cup.
Under Portuguese boss Mourinho Chelsea have proven themselves to be a formidable force in both domestic and European football, with the 27-year-old midfielder acting as the lynchpin of the side as well as chipping in with an impressive 19 goals last season.
