Chelsea striker Eidur Gudjohnsen believes the confidence Jose Mourinho instils in his players can fire the West London club to the title.
The talented Icelandic link-man has been in impressive form all season and credits his Portuguese taskmaster for Chelsea's march to the Premiership summit.
Chelsea currently hold a five-point advantage over North London rivals Arsenal, with Gudjohnsen confident they can fend off the challenge of their nearest challengers.
''Since Mourinho arrived, he has brought great belief to the team,'' Gudjohnsen told The Mirror.
''When you have that belief in yourself and in your team-mates, it is very important.
''Belief can get you a long way. I have had a few managers and every manager has different qualities.
''With this manager, it is really the first time I have ever thought someone has so much faith and belief in players and in himself that when you look at him you think 'it can't go wrong'.
''I spoke to Mourinho in the summer and he gave me a lot of confidence. He spoke of his faith in me.''
