Juventus have been linked with a move for Brescia starlet Andrea Caracciolo.

The Turin giants have been rocked by the news that premier striker David Trezeguet could be out for up to four months if he requires an operation on his troublesome shoulder

Trezeguet's possible absence would leave Juventus short up front for a crucial period of both Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.

Much speculation in Italy has suggested that Juventus are looking to sign a new striker in the January transfer window if Trezeguet is sidelined.

In recent days the Bianconeri have been linked with a move for Roma's Antonio Cassano, out-of-favour Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu and now most recently with Brescia talent Caracciolo.

Caracciolo was the subject of Roma interest in the summer, but Brescia president Luigi Corioni offered the youngster a contract extension.

However, despite being contracted till 2008 Juve general manager Luciano Moggi has made an approach to Brescia official Gianluca Nani to enquire whether they would be open to negotiate over the player.
