The Cameroon ace has been deployed in a variety of positions by Blues boss Claudio Ranieri since his move from Real Madrid last July.
Geremi has featured across the midfield and has also operated as a full back as Ranieri continues to tinker with his line-up and formation.
Former Middlesbrough loanee Geremi concedes it is perpetually frustrating to continually be shifted around the pitch, rather than focusing on one role.
The 25-year-old acknowledged his preferred spot is on the right flank and he is hoping Ranieri takes note of his desire to play in that position.
"Right midfield is my proper position and I have a good CV there," commented Geremi.
"It's not good to play in so many different positions. You don't have the same focus as somebody who does the same job every week.
"When you play right midfield you know you have to dribble or give it and go.
"In the centre you've to cover, defend and pass the ball. It's a different mindset.
"It's much easier to be settled in one job. That's the only way you can improve."
