CLAUDIO RANIERI has revealed he is keen to keep midfielder Jody Morris at Chelsea.
Morris' performances on the pitch have sometimes been marred by his antics off it but the tough-tackling star now appears to have matured and has impressed Ranieri.
"I want Jody to stay, he is a fantastic player, he has a good attitude and good technique," said Ranieri.
"When we played Leeds he was one of the reasons why we won that match."
Morris is an ardent Blues fan and wants to remain at Stamford Bridge despite the fierce competition for places.
"I love Chelsea, it's where I have learnt my football and it's where I want to stay," explained Morris.
"I am getting concerned about my future and hope that something can be sorted out very soon."
Meanwhile, Chelsea defender John Terry believes he is now ready to play for England.
"I've grown up so much in the last year and my dream is to play for England whether it be the next game or not," said Terry.
"Hopefully it will come in the future. I feel a lot more confident now and my mind is totally focused on football. I am going to work so hard and nothing is going to get in my way."
