VETERAN Italian striker Giuseppe Signori has revealed that he will leave Italy at the end of the season if Bologna do not want to re-sign him, with Chelsea reportedly keen to land the hit-man.

The evergreen Signori is out of contract at the end of the season, and his weighing up his career options which include retirement following a series of injuries during his playing days.

The 34-year-old is hoping to be fit and ready for action in the club's upcoming tie against Milan and will make a decision on his next move during the summer.

"It's too easy to have a meeting with the president when things are going well. I'll wait until June, then we'll talk about my contract," said Signori.

"If Bologna still have faith in me, I'll stay, otherwise I'll go abroad, for a season or two. I would never go to another Italian team."
