CHELSEA have agreed a ‚é¼12 million double deal with Real Madrid for Geremi and Falvio Conceicao.

Geremi has been a long-term target for The Blues, having failed with a bid last summer and now the West London outfit are hoping to land the Cameroonian defender, along with his Brazilian team-mate.

Planetfootball.com revealed earlier this month that Chelsea had made enquiries for Flavio and now they have followed this up with a firm offer - which has been accepted by Real's sporting director Jorge Valdano.

Flavio will join Chelsea on loan for the whole of next season and then The Blues will be given first option to sign him on a permanent basis.

Geremi's transfer will not be concluded until he returns from World Cup duty with Cameroon, but it is widely expected that he will accept that his future lies away from Estadio Santiago Bernabeu and that he will agree to the move.

The African's advisors are already believed to have begun negotiations with Chelsea and his personal terms are likely to be agreed before he goes to England to undergo a medical.

Chelsea are not holding back in the transfer market, having already landed Espanyol midfielder Enrique De Lucas on a Bosman transfer.
