Terry faces extra charges

CHELSEA defender John Terry has been charged with a more serious offence, after an alleged incident at a West London nightclub in January.

The 21-year-old is has already been charged with causing actual bodily harm and affray, but now he is also facing charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and using a wine bottle as an offensive weapon.

The Crown Prosecution Service went ahead with the charges after reviewing medical, scientific and video evidence.

Chelsea midfielder Jody Morris and Desmond Byrne of Wimbledon also face charges of actual bodily harm with affray.
