TOTTENHAM have warned Neil Sullivan that they will not break the bank to sign the Scottish international keeper on a free transfer.
Sullivan is out of contract this summer and it is reported that he wants a three-year deal worth around £3 million.
The negotiations are currently at the critical stage with a Spurs spokesman saying, "We are having talks but we are also anxious that these do not become too ambitious on the player`s part."
The 30-year old was virtually an ever-present last season, missing only one start in goal for The Dons, and has spent almost 12 years with the London club.
Chelsea have reportedly joined the hunt for Sullivan, who has also attracted interest from Arsenal, with Gianluca Vialli keen on purchasing a new keeper.
Richard Wright of Ipswich remains the West Londoners` top target, but he will remain at Portman Road if they gain promotion this Monday.
