This was the welcome that Nani received on his arrival in Turkey as he gets set to sign for Fenerbahce.

Fenerbahce have completed the signing of Manchester United winger Nani.

The Portugal international, who spent last season on loan at Sporting Lisbon, arrived in Istanbul on Sunday evening to undergo a medical and finalise a permanent move from Old Trafford worth a reported £4.5m.

Following his signing for the Reds in the summer of 2007, the 28-year-old made 230 appearances and scored 41 goals. He was part of the team that won the 2008 Champions League, converting a key penalty during the shoot-out victory over Chelsea in Moscow.

He signed a five-year contract in 2013 but then began to fall out of favour and returned to Sporting as part of the deal that took Marcos Rojo in the opposite direction last summer.

He could be back at Old Trafford as early as next month with Fenerbahce potential Champions League qualifying opponents for United.
