Louis van Gaal looks like having more options at his disposal for Manchester United's return to Premier League action at home to QPR on Sunday.
Although Phil Jones suffered an apparent hamstring problem in England's 2-0 win over Switzerland on Monday, the rest of the injury news at Old Trafford is of a more positive nature.
Summer signing Luke Shaw could make his debut after suffering a hamstring problem in pre-season and former Athletic Bilbao midfielder Ander Herrera could also be back.
Herrera has been restricted to only one Premier League outing so far because of an ankle injury sustained in their opening 2-1 defeat by Swansea.
"Training hard and looking forward to this next game at Old Trafford!" Herrera said on Twitter.
And full-back Rafael, who has not featured yet this season, is also on the road back to full health, saying on his Instagram account: "Back in training ready to help. Let's go."
United have only managed two points from their opening three games, with van Gaal still waiting to claim his first competitive win since taking over as manager.
That provoked a whirlwind of transfer business from van Gaal before the window closed, and Sunday's game could see a debut for striker Falcao, who joined on loan from Monaco, and a home bow for British record signing Angel di Maria.
As well as Falcao, Dutch defender Daley Blind and Argentina international Marcos Rojo could also make their United debut - Rojo is clear to start his Old Trafford career after receiving a work permit.
Robin van Persie is confident the big changes in player personnel will soon bring about a chance in fortunes on the pitch.
He said: "I can't wait to go and train and play with the world class players we have signed - wow!
"That feeling, that we are going to perform well, has only got stronger after the buying of players over the last weeks. I find it very exciting, the arrival of all those new players."
Those sentiments were echoed by the club's leading all-time goalscorer Sir Bobby Charlton, who said: "It seems strange that Manchester United are not involved in European football for a season.
"It's crazy, but maybe it can make things easier for us. We have started with some new players. We have not been playing well but we will play well.
"I think that it's going to be a great adventure of how we pull ourselves back around and get back to the way it used to be.
"He (Van Gaal) has given me and most of us fans some good news (with the new signings) and it is good news. We won't struggle, definitely, we won't struggle any more."
