Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is hoping that Arturo Vidal will stay at the club, despite reports heavily linking him with a move to Manchester United.

Vidal's future has been the subject of much speculation throughout the summer, but Juventus insist he will only be allowed to leave if he asks for a move.

The 27-year-old, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen in 2011, starred for Chile at this summer’s World Cup and United have widely been credited with an interest in bringing him to Old Trafford.

However, despite recent reports of a £45million bid from United, Pogba insists that everybody currently at Juventus is keen to see Vidal stay in Turin.

"He (Vidal) is training to get his fitness. We all want him to stay at Juve," said Pogba.

Former AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri replaced Antonio Conte in charge of Juventus this summer, but Pogba says little has changed in terms of playing style after their third successive Serie A title win

"For the moment we are utilising the same system as we did previously, working a lot on possession of the ball," he said.

"It's like what we did before. When you play with for three years with a winning system, there is no need to change a lot.

"It’s only necessary to keep some characteristics and improve others. That’s what the coach is trying to do."
