Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick reckons there will be a handful of teams involved in the battle for the Premier League this season.
Defending champions United are again among the favourites for the title with local rivals Manchester City and Chelsea also heavily fancied.
Carrick also reckons his former club, Tottenham, will be in the mix with their north London foes, Arsenal, there or thereabouts as well.
"Potentially there could be between four and six teams involved right until January or February," Carrick said.
"Just after that is when it really gets sorted out. The pressure kicks in and the expectations change. It's how you deal with that.
"Two years ago, Tottenham were right in there, but they faded away a bit.
"Hopefully we'll be in with a shout at that time and are able to use our experience to see us through."
