Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson insists there will be no distractions for his team when they host Norwich on Saturday.

United have a glamour UEFA Champions League encounter against Real Madrid on Tuesday for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

But Ferguson's immediate priority is winning the Premier League this season, and he is desperate for United to cement their position at the top of the table with another victory.

United hold a 12-point lead going into the match, with nearest challengers Manchester City not playing their game with Aston Villa until Monday.

"Tomorrow is the important one for us," Ferguson said on Friday. "Tuesday will look after itself. That is an occasion whereas tomorrow is the mundane, practical situation - we need to win.

"That is what the concentration is on. I can assure you the players will not be thinking about Tuesday at this moment in time.

"All week we've been talking about how important Norwich is."
