Sky Sports understands Manchester United youngster John Cofie is poised to join Sheffield United on loan.
Cofie is highly rated at Old Trafford and Sir Alex Ferguson is keen to continue his policy of farming out his best young talent on loan to gain some valuable first-team experience.
The 19-year-old enjoyed a spell out on loan at United's feeder club Royal Antwerp and he is thought to have impressed during his time in Belgium.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in taking the powerful forward on loan this season, but it appears Sheffield United are set to win the race for his signature.
Blades boss Danny Wilson is keen to add to his attacking options and sees Cofie as someone who will boost their bid to win promotion from League One next season.
