United have plans for teens

Tunnicliffe could stay at Old Trafford; Keane expected to go on loan

Manchester United youngster Ryan Tunnicliffe could get a first-team chance next season, while Michael Keane will be sent on loan, according to reserve-team boss Warren Joyce. The Red Devils pair, both 19, are products of United's esteemed youth academy. Midfielder Tunnicliffe spent time on loan at Peterborough last season, while defender Keane impressed with the reserves. Both have been linked with loan moves away from Old Trafford, with Hull City thought to be keen on the duo. But while a loan move is a possibility for Keane, Tunnicliffe will be amongst those who are set to be retained next season, according to United's reserve-team boss Joyce.

Interest

"There's bound to be interest from the Championship as they both did well last year," Joyce told the Hull Daily Mail. "The reserves won everything and Keane won the (reserves') player of the year. "For sure he will go out on loan but Tunnicliffe may well be around the first team."
