Bojan Djordjic has joined Royal Antwerp on an 18-month deal after being released by Blackpool.

The 29-year-old has been without a club since the start of January after being released by the Championship side just six months after joining them.

The winger trained with his former club Manchester United to maintain his fitness before agreeing to join United feeder club Antwerp.

Djordjic told Expressen: "It feels great. It's time to get to play some matches, it has been tough to not play football for a long time.

"I am grateful that United take care of their former players. I accepted their offer."
