Agent claims Spanish side would be good choice for midfielder

Manchester United could struggle to land reported target Rasmus Elm after his agent claimed he would be suited to the Primera Liga with Valencia. The highly-rated AZ Alkmaar midfielder has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford move but his representative, Patrick Moerk, stressed last week there is no deal in place for him to join the Red Devils. United are among a host of clubs thought to be chasing the Swede's signature, with Lazio and CSKA Moscow also believed to be interested. Valencia are another side to have been linked with the 23-year-old and Moerk feels the Spanish club could be a good fit. He told Voetbal Primeur: "Valencia is a good choice and an attractive club for Rasmus." Rasmus is contracted at AZ until summer 2013 but Moerk has previously said that all offers will be considered during this month's transfer window.
