Tom Cleverley is likely to sit out Manchester United's UEFA Champions League tie against Otelul Galati after missing training on Tuesday.
The midfielder was substituted during United's 1-0 victory at Everton on Saturday due to an ankle problem and is not expected to be risked against Galati on Wednesday.
Cleverley has only recently returned to action after several weeks out with ankle ligament damage suffered in September's victory at Bolton Wanderers.
In addition to Cleverley not taking part in Tuesday morning's training session, Ashley Young, Ryan Giggs, Federica Macheda and Chris Smalling were also absent, while midfielder Michael Carrick trained on his own.
Skipper Nemanja Vidic was part of the main group, although the Serbian will not feature on Wednesday as he is suspended following his red card in Bucharest a fortnight ago.
Most interest surrounded the presence of young trio Paul Pogba, Larnell Cole and Ezekiel Fryers, although whether any of them will be involved remains to be seen.
United are currently second in Group C after a brace of second-half penalties from Wayne Rooney secured a 2-0 win in Romania.
