Manchester United have recalled Ritchie de Laet and Joshua King from their respective loan spells at Preston North End.
De Laet and King were due to stay at Deepdale for Preston's next two games, but have returned to Old Trafford following the sacking of manager Darren Ferguson.
Belgian defender De Laet joined the Championship strugglers last month and had made five appearances prior to his stint being cut short.
He had also undertaken a loan spell at Sheffield United this season and could again head out on loan in the New Year.
Teenage striker King, meanwhile, had been with Preston since August and had scored once in 10 games in all competitions.
