Midfielder in no rush to secure move to the Premier League

Armin Bacinovic is focused on becoming an improved player at Palermo after being linked with a move to the Premier League. The Slovenian midfielder has been quick to make an impact in Serie A after joining Palermo from Maribor before the close of the summer transfer window. He scored against AC Milan earlier this month and has been linked with Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool. However, while Bacinovic is flattered to have attracted attention from England, he insists he is enjoying playing for Palermo.

Motivation

"At the moment I only see myself in a Palermo shirt," the 21-year-old told Sportal. "But, of course, I can't deny that everybody would like to play for such magnificent clubs as Liverpool and Chelsea. "Rumours are just a very good extra motivation for me, but I would like to continue playing for Palermo and, with good training, I am sure I can go very far. "I have everything at Palermo to become an even better player and I'm working towards that. "Of course, if the offer came and Palermo would be happy to sell me, then I would leave. But, if not, I will be very happy to stay. I really enjoy it here." Bacinovic's manager Armin Ruznic added: "I don't know what his wishes are, but in my opinion he is not yet ready to move to England. "Liverpool, Chelsea? Those are big clubs, he will be ready to play for them in a year's time. "I heard the rumours too, but I repeat, Armin still has a lot to learn."
