Manchester United's new signing Bebe has been included in the club's UEFA Champions League squad.
It was initially thought that the 20-year-old had been left out of their list of 25 players for the forthcoming group stages.
But Uefa have now confirmed that the former Vitoria Guimaraes player is on the list and would be available for Tuesday's opening game against Rangers at Old Trafford should manager Sir Alex Ferguson require him.
The winger is still working on his match fitness and the Old Trafford supremo is more likely to give the youngster his debut in the Carling Cup tie at Scunthorpe the following week.
Owen Hargreaves has already been excluded from United's Champions League squad as the midfielder recovers from two operations and endless rehabilitation work with Ferguson unsure when the England international will be back.
Bebe was at Guimaraes for less than two months before Ferguson spent a reported £7.4m on the forward, who also attracted interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
