Red Devils legends lauds 'marvellous' manager

Manchester United legend Bobby Charlton has praised manager Sir Alex Ferguson's managerial skills ahead of Wednesday's UEFA Champions League final. The Red Devils lock horns with Barcelona in Rome in the final on Wednesday looking to become the first team in Champions League history to successfully defend the title. Charlton, who made over 750 appearances for the club, believes Ferguson's ability to get the best out of his players puts him a cut above other elite managers from around Europe.

Body language

"His body language is you'd think there was nothing wrong," he told Sky Sports News. "You'd think it was the third round of the FA Cup, not the final of the Champions League. That's his great gift. "He's the most marvellous manager. He lives it. He lives it with the players. He knows exactly how they are feeling. He reads their minds. He keeps them fit. He gets them ready for it. "Of course his record is there for all to see. Here we are again. Like I say, his body language is that nothing has changed."
