Manchester United and England defender Wes Brown believes Sir Alex Ferguson and Fabio Capello have similar managerial styles.
Brown has worked under Ferguson for the whole of his Old Trafford career, and is currently the Scot's first-choice right-back.
He has also tallied 19 England caps to date, with five of those coming under Italian coach Capello.
And the 28-year-old - who is currently vying for a starting berth in Saturday's World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan - believes the two coaches boast comparable qualities.
"There are similarities between the two of them," Brown told thefa.com. "They both know what they are doing and relate that to the players.
"They are very in control of themselves and know what they want from their teams.
"They tell the players exactly what they want and from that the players get confidence, which is always a good start.
"With confidence you can go into big games and play very well."
