Karim Benzema's agent has warned Barcelona they have no chance of signing the Lyon striker in the summer.
Reports have claimed that Barca are ready to offer big money to capture the France international ahead of Manchester United at the end of the season.
Barca's sporting director Txiki Beguiristain watched Benzema in action during Lyon's French Cup win over Metz earlier in the week.
But the youngster's agent Karim Djaziri has confirmed that the promising forward is not looking to quit Lyon in the immediate future.
Still young
"He is not going to leave Lyon," Djaziri told Marca.
"I know that there are a lot of interested clubs, but he is still young and wants to stay and gain more experience.
"Next season he will continue to play for Lyon and then we shall see.
"He does not want to leave and that is why we renewed his contract a few weeks ago.
"There is no buy-out clause included as he does not want to move and Lyon do not want to sell."
