Park Ji-sung is confident Manchester United can emulate the 1999 team and win the treble.

The South Korean, who is close to full fitness after recovering from a serious knee injury, believes United have a better chance at claiming domestic and continental success than they did a year ago.

"In my opinion, I think we have a much better chance compared to last year," he said according to the United's Korean website.

"We improved the squad over the summer and we now have become a stronger team."

Settled

The 26 year-old also admitted he has grown as a player over the last twelve months and is feeling settled at Old Trafford.

"I am definitely a better player than before, both mentally and physically," he added.

"I am settled here and adapting to the English culture was never an issue."
