Hull City have expressed an interest in extending the loan deal of Manchester United youngster Fraizer Campbell.

Youngster could stay with Tigers for the rest of the season

Hull City have expressed an interest in extending the loan deal of Manchester United youngster Fraizer Campbell. The 20-year-old forward joined The Tigers last week and marked his home debut with two goals in the 3-0 victory over Barnsley on Monday. He is set to return to Old Trafford in the New Year but The Tigers are hopeful of keeping him for longer. Hull chairman Paul Duffen accepts that United are not likely to sell such a highly-rated prospect, but believes Sir Alex Ferguson may allow him to stay at the KC Stadium until the end of the season. "There would be little chance of us being able to sign him permanently," Duffen said in the Daily Express. "But if, come January, he is not considered quite ready for the Premier League and he is enjoying his football here, we would look to make it a loan until the end of the season."
