The 20-year-old has impressed during his spell at Zaragoza and the Spanish club are keen to keep Pique.
Pique's agent Arturo Canales says the player is interested in moving to Zaragoza.
"We are discussing details," said Canales. "Both Zaragoza and the player are interested in a permanent deal.
"Zaragoza need to maintain good relations with Manchester United in order to pull off the deal.
"The loan is turning out to be a success for everybody concerned."
