Coventry City have completed a double capture ahead of their Championship opener against Sunderland on Sunday.
Sky Blues boss Micky Adams has swooped for Luke Steele and Faysal El-Idrissi as he looks to finalise his squad for the forthcoming campaign.
Goalkeeper Steele is well known to the club's faithful having played 36 games for City in the 2004/2005 season, whilst on-loan from Manchester United, and now a similar deal has been struck with the Premiership giants.
''Luke is someone we know all about and we have continued to keep tabs on him,'' said Adams.
''I would like to thank Sir Alex Ferguson for letting him return here on loan.''
Adams' second capture is versatile Moroccan midfielder El-Idrissi, who impressed in a pre-season friendly against Kidderminster and has now signed a short-term deal.
''We enjoyed watching Faysal play at Kidderminster on Tuesday and he can play on either the left or right side of midfield, which will obviously offer us added options.''
