Liga side Real Zaragoza are looking to persuade Manchester United to send rising star Gerard Pique to Spain on loan.
The 19-year-old is expected to scale great heights in his career, but is unlikely to secure regular playing time at Old Trafford in the new campaign.
He is, though, extremely highly rated in his native Spain and Zaragoza are looking to strike a loan deal.
The Red Devils are rumoured to be ready to accept the proposal, provided a number of criteria are met.
United are keen for Pique to play regularly in the new campaign and are looking for a game-guarantee to be inserted into the contract, with a compensation agreement in place should Pique not play the required number of matches.
Pique is due to return to training on Wednesday, having been on duty with the Spanish Under-19 side, but reports suggest he could soon be on the move once again.
