Lyn Oslo have refused to comment on reports linking John Obi Mikel with a move to Chelsea.
The highly-rated 19-year-old has impressed in Norway and is widely tipped for stardom.
Speculation in Mikel's homeland of Nigeria has suggested that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Manchester United over the long-running tug-of-war between the two clubs, but Oslo director Morgan Andersen has questioned whether there is any truth in the rumours.
He is more concerned with settling the long-running saga with Manchester United, who Mikel claims duped him into joining from Lyn.
Andersen would like to keep Mikel for as long as possible, but insists that his club is in the dark on the player's future.
"No comment," Andersen said on the Chelsea reports.
"This issue might be resolved in two days or two years. We are practically the only ones who have tried to solve this issue."
