Manchester United's Tim Howard is set to join Everton on a season-long loan.
The Toffees have reportedly agreed a deal with United for Howard, who has spent much of the season kicking his heels on the bench at Old Trafford.
Howard enjoyed a successful first year with The Red Devils, but slipped down the pecking order following last summer's arrival of Edwin van der Sar.
The 26-year-old, who has been included in Bruce Arena's USA World Cup squad, has been limited to just six senior appearances this term.
With Richard Wright reportedly on his way out of Goodison Park and Nigel Martyn's career in the balance, David Moyes was keen to strengthen his keeping options.
Martyn is out of contract this summer, with the club waiting on a medical report before deciding whether to offer the veteran a year's extension.
With Howard set for Everton, Ben Forster is likely to return to United this summer as van der Sar's back-up following a successful season on loan with Watford.
