Manchester United youngster Gerard Pique was happy with his performance against West Ham on Wednesday night.
The Spaniard was given a rare start in United's side for the 1-0 win at Old Trafford.
The former Barcelona starlet played at right back and although he admitted he was unaccustomed to playing at right back he enjoyed the experience.
"I have never played at right back for United and just once or twice when I was at Barcelona," said Pique.
"But I felt confident and although I had a few nerves in the dressing room, once I got out onto the pitch I forgot about it and it wasn't a problem."
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson was also full of praise for Pique.
"Gerard was fantastic," said Ferguson. "He did everything we asked of him.
"His use of the ball was excellent, he is competitive and he has a good attitude and that helped him through the game."
