Besiktas have joined the race to sign Manchester United midfielder Kleberson.

The Brazilian World Cup winner is currently in Asia with his United team-mates but the club are prepared to consider bids over the summer.

Both Celta Vigo and Besiktas have tabled offers for Kleberson but United rejected the bids, claiming they did not meet their valuation of the South American.

Besiktas vice-president Kivanc Oktay did not want to name his targets but it is known coach Riza Calimbay is keen on the 26-year-old.

"We want to get the best player we can at the best conditions," said Oktay.

"We're speaking to many players at the same time and then we'll make a choice."

Celta fancied signing Kleberson on a season-long loan but United are believed to want to thrash out a permanent transfer.
