Rotherham United are hoping to tie up loan moves for two Premiership midfielders.
The Championship's bottom club are aiming to bring Bolton Wanderers teenager Joey O'Brien and Manchester United youngster David Fox to Millmoor.
O'Brien has recently completed a three-month spell with Rotherham's South Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday.
The 19-year-old impressed for The Owls and Rotherham are now trying to concur on a deal with Bolton.
The Millers had been chasing his signature for this week but, after O'Brien was in the squad to face Manchester City on Monday, Rotherham have been forced to bide their time.
Red Devils midfielder Fox is expected to complete his switch to Millmoor in the coming days after impressing Alan Knill on trial.
Fox also undertook a trial with an unnamed Dutch club but seems poised to join Rotherham's relegation battle until the end of the season.
