Postiga happy to stay at Porto

PORTO star Helder Postiga has revealed he is happy to stay at the club despite all the rumours over his future.

The skilful striker is one of the most sought-after players in Europe after an impressive season for the Portuguese champions.

Manchester United, Juventus and Tottenham have all been linked with the 20-year-old, but Postiga insists he is content to stay at the Estadio Das Antas.

"People have said that I am good enough to play for other clubs, but the truth is that I do not know what will happen," Postiga told Ojogo.

"I am happy at present and would like to continue with this team."

Postiga will miss his side's Uefa Cup final with Celtic after his sending off in the semi-final, second leg game with Lazio and he admitted the dismissal was the worst moment of his career.

"It was the worst moment of my life," said Postiga. "When I left the field in Rome it is true that I cried.

"I was full of sorrow, but happily Porto progressed to the final and I should have positive thoughts."

The Portuguese international is set to travel with his side for the final in Seville despite being banned and he is confident that his side can overcome Celtic.

"Above all I expect that Porto will be victorious," added Postiga. "It is going to be an excellent game.

"Celtic have done well to get back in the Scottish championship, but Porto are already champions and we can rest for the final."
