DAVID PLATT has named his Under-21 squad for the games against Germany and Albania and again Bayern Munich star Owen Hargreaves has been left out fuelling speculation he will be in the senior squad named by Sven Goran Eriksson on Sunday.

West Ham United ace Joe Cole returns to the squad after missing the game with Holland earlier this month through injury.

Platt keeps faith with most of the squad that beat Holland 4-0 at Reading's Madekski Stadium for the games against Germany on August 31 and Albania on September 4.
