CAN CHRIS HACKETT WITH THE BIG BOYS?
COVENTRY CITY boss Gordon Strachan is amongst a host of Premiership managers taking a close ineterest in Oxford United youngster Chris Hackett.
Strachan was amongst a number of representatives from England's top flight who watched the exciting winger in Oxford's home defeat against Wycombe on Saturday.
Manchester United, Newcastle and Middlesbrough also had scouts at the Manor Ground monitoring the performance of the promising 17-year-old, who made an appearance as a substitute in the 67th minute of the match.
Hackett made his debut for the U's against Wigan Athletic during the 1999/2000 season and has also represented the FA Youth XI.
