MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Jonathan Greening has admitted that he may have to leave Old Trafford to get first team football, following reports linking him with a number of clubs over recent weeks.

The 21-year-old was told that he could leave the club after failing to sign a new contract, and has found himself linked to a number of Premiership and Division One sides recently, with Bradford City being one of the more realistic associations.

The former York City striker has now admitted that he needs to earn himself a regular playing spot, saying: "I would like to play regular first team football and if that means a move to another club, I'm afraid there is nothing I can do about it.

"I love it at United, but when you look at the players we have got here you can see how hard it is to get into the first team."
