Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho denies that he gave his whole squad four days off following the Premier League title win.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho says he is in no rush to sign a new contract and owner Roman Abramovich has no need to worry over his future.

The Portuguese has two years left on the four-year deal he signed in 2013 and Sky sources understand no talks have taken place regarding a new contract, despite Mourinho leading Chelsea to their first title since 2010.

Speaking ahead of his side's first game since being crowned champions - a clash with Liverpool live on Sky Sports 1HD on Super Sunday - Mourinho said: "I don't need a contract.

"Mr Abramovich needs to be very calm. I am in his hands. I want to stay, I don't want to leave. I am not asking for a better contract. I am very, very calm. He doesn't need to be worried, he has me.

"If he wants me to stay, I'm staying. When he wants me to leave, I leave. I know he wants me next season because I am working. A ten-year contract is not important."

The Chelsea boss has also denied giving his players four days off after beating West Brom to clinch the trophy with three games left on Sunday.

Reports emerged this week that Manchester United were concerned over a rumour that Blues players were given a lengthy break and it might impact on their ability to beat Liverpool, whom United are fighting for fourth place, when the sides meet on Sunday, also live on Sky Sports 1HD.

But Mourinho said: "This is not true. Here, I work from the beginning of the season like people who make suits for measure. Not everyone wears 50 or 52.

"Here we take care of players like suits to measure. Someone playing every game needs a different measure to one with no injuries."
