Hull will pay Blackpool £2.3m after agreeing a compensation package over the transfer of winger Tom Ince.

The 22-year-old joined the Tigers during the summer once his deal at Bloomfield Road had expired but, because of his age, the Seasiders are entitled to a fee.

Blackpool confirmed on their Twitter page: "The club can confirm that a compensation package has been agreed with @HullCity for Tom Ince, without the need of a tribunal.

"The Tigers will pay up to £2.3m for the 22-year-old, who moved to the KC Stadium on a two-year deal in the summer."

Ince, an England U21 international, started Hull's first three league games of this season before being loaned out to Nottingham Forest in November having fallen out of favour with manager Steve Bruce.
