Harry Kane believes Tottenham are genuine top-four contenders after securing their third straight Premier League win with a 2-1 victory at Leicester.
Spurs moved to within two points of the Champions League places courtesy of Kane's first-minute finish and Christian Eriksen's fine second-half free-kick, which restored the visitors' lead after Leonardo Ulloa had struck just after the break for the hosts.
"I think we’re playing well," said Kane after scoring his 15th goal of the season. "After they scored, we picked it up again and created some more chances and obviously Christian with a magical free-kick got us the win.
"He’s a top, top player and a top professional. He’s been great as has the whole team. I think the whole team dug deep when we had to. You need match-winners in your team and Christian is definitely one of them.
"We just want to push on and build on the momentum we have gained this Christmas, keep on getting wins and see where it takes us.
"Top four is wide open at the minute. There are a lot of teams in the hunt so we just need to keep performing and keep focused, get some wins and see where it puts us in the table.
"We’ve definitely been playing better in recent weeks. In the last couple of months we’ve gotten used to the way the manager wants us to play and I think it’s coming together."
Spurs' next test of their improving form comes on Sunday when Manchester United visit White Hart Lane.
"Obviously Manchester United is a tough game on Sunday, but we’re going into it after winning our last three on the bounce so I think there is definitely a bit of momentum for us and we can take that into the game," added Kane.
