Sky Sports understands a number of Premier League clubs are tracking Senegal international midfielder Stephane Badji.

Badji, who is currently plying his trade in Norway with SK Brann, has come to the attention of clubs across all the major leagues in Europe after impressing for club and country in recent months.

All-action midfielder Badji, who partners Hull City's Mohamed Diame in Senegal's engine room, is now one of the first names in Alain Giresse's side and again caught the eye in their win over Egypt last weekend.

The 6ft 3in midfielder is attracting interest from clubs in England, Italy and Germany and the player's agent, Willie McKay, has revealed Badji has a release clause of £600,000 in his contract at Brann.

"There has been loads of interest in Stephane from all over Europe with clubs in England, Germany and Italy all showing interest in him," McKay told Sky Sports.

"He is now one of the first names on the teamsheet for Senegal and you look at some of the names in that squad Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse, Saido Mane, Mohamed Diame - they are all big stars and Stephane has established himself as a key member of the team.

"Stephane has a release clause of £600,000 in his contract at Brann and he would be one of the bargains of the year for any club in January."
