Transfer news: Crystal Palace looking to send Sullay Kaikai out on loan

Crystal Palace are hoping to find a club willing to take talented teenager Sullay Kaikai on a short-term loan.

The 19-year-old winger has figured for the Palace first team this season and opened his senior goal account in a Capital One Cup clash with Newcastle United in September.

He is, however, some way down the pecking order when it comes to Premier League competition.

Kaikai, therefore, has to try and catch the eye at U21 level.

Neil Warnock would prefer to see the youngster get competitive minutes under his belt away from Selhurst Park and is looking for a Football League club to take a chance on a player of real promise.

He told the Croydon Advertiser: “We took Sullay with us last week to West Brom give him more first team experience, he’s up and coming, for sure.

“We still haven’t had any loan enquiries for him.

“Last week they (the U21s) had a game and he played poorly when there were around four people watching him, but hopefully we can get him somewhere to play.”
