Jose Mourinho has revealed England boss Roy Hodgson is the only international manager to speak to him this season about injured players.
The Chelsea boss is unhappy with how top scorer Diego Costa has been handled by Spain head coach Vicente del Bosque, with the £32m summer signing from Atletico Madrid currently ruled out with a hamstring injury.
Costa featured in his country’s European qualifiers with Slovakia and Luxembourg during this month’s international break despite already struggling with the problem, a move that angered Mourinho.
In contrast, Mourinho claims he has a ‘correct relationship’ with Hodgson, who has been in touch with him during his tenure as national boss.

“But it hurts and you are not happy when you give players in good condition and you receive the players in bad condition.
"It's something that is out of our hands. I had in my career a few of them (national managers) in permanent contact with me.
"I had others where, year after year after year, I don't have one single SMS (text message) or one single phone call. It depends on them.
"I'm not the kind of guy to tell the players not to go. I don't tell the players to pretend they have problems.
"I like the players to go. Our club likes the players to go and we like our players to succeed in the national teams, to play in big competitions.
"The players should be proud to play for the national teams and Chelsea is proud that our players are selected for their national teams.
“We don't change our approach to the situation."
