Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini is not looking to move back to Italy, his agent has insisted.
Giaccherini joined Sunderland from Juventus in the summer, and has been a regular under Gus Poyet and his predecessor Paolo Di Canio.
New Inter Milan chief Erick Thohir is reportedly a fan of the midfielder, but despite battling against relegation, Giaccherini appears to be more than happy with life on Wearside.
"Emanuele is happy in England, he has settled well both in the team and in in the English way of life," his agent Giulio Marinelli is quoted by Tuttomercatoweb.
"The Premier League is a beautiful championship, perhaps the best in Europe. The stadiums are great and the quality of life is exceptional.
"The only drawback at this time is the team's performance but the squad is good and I am convinced that they will climb up the table.
"His personal goal is still to go to the World Cup."
Regarding the links to Inter, he added: "Now, these are just baseless rumours."
