Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen has hinted that he might retire when his contract expires at the end of the season.
Sorensen has found himself playing second fiddle to Asmir Begovic for the last couple of seasons and the arrival of England international Jack Butland has increased the competition for places at the Britannia Stadium.
The 37-year-old admits he has no plans to drop down the leagues just to play and will hang up his gloves unless he receives an attractive offer.
"I have set some requirements for next season." Sorensen told Tipsbladet.
"It should be something where I can see some opportunities and challenges, because I feel I have played enough matches in my career.
"Therefore, I will not join a Championship club just to get to play more matches."
"I will turn 38 years and would like my body to still be healthy after the career is over."
